Writing Wednesdays #11: Most Inspirational Quotes About Animals

Our animal friends have such an abundance of joy and love to unconditionally give us that we must take good care of them. Any one who has taken in a pet knows the happiness they bring and-especially- express through their unbridled affections when we come home after a long day. Their barks, meows, and chirps of joy when they greet us is the greatest love anyone can possibly know. So, for today, I am bringing you some of the most heartwarming quotes about animals that will warm your heart and put a smile on your face.

I find this to be such a true quote. Animals have a special way of curling up in both our laps and in our hearts. There is nothing better than getting kisses from a warm dog tongue or feeling the soothing purr of a kitten against your chest.

“Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day.“- John Grogan

No truer words have ever been spoken. I was on the verge of tears when I found this quote. It’s so sad but it is true; our loving friends often do spend most of their days waiting for us to come home from either work, school, or any other occasion. Nothing says ‘love’ like the elated barks of a joyous dog, the wag of a tail, or the meows and purrs of a content cat.

I feel that the person who said this was channeling myself. I feel that those with four feet are indeed the perfect companions. You could not ask for a better friend than a cat or dog. I can attest to both. Our dogs are so in-tune with us that even if mom sniffles, one of our dogs will immediately go to comfort her. How amazing is that?!
